Graduation Day at Sandhills Wolverhampton
They say “The best thing about memories is making them”, and here at Sandhills Wolverhampton we like to ensure that we make as many memories as possible to be remembered and cherished long after our children and families move on.
One of the hardest decisions a parent can make is who to trust with their child when they return to work, and we are privileged that so many choose to share these first precious years with us. We have been lucky to have so many families and siblings pass through our doors over the years, and it’s sad to think that for most of our parents their journey with us has to end as they move on to Primary School.
Sandhill’s has seen many changes over the years, not least our biggest change yet of moving to our new Wolverhampton site. It was exciting, daunting and stressful in equal measures, but we could not have done it without the continued trust, commitment, understanding and support from our parents. Our families are what make us who we are, and we are so grateful to you for everything you have helped us to achieve.
Even though we know our children will grow and move onto big school every year, it still surprises us just how quickly it comes around. Looking back over the years our children have been here reminds us of just how many memories we have of them, how their personalities have grown, and how greatly they will be missed.
It is with sadness that their journey with us is now coming to an end, but now, looking back on how they have grown and flourished into the confident young graduates we now have today, we are bursting with pride with all they have achieved, as we are sure their parents are too.
Our Graduation Ceremony for our Class of 2019 was held on Saturday 20th July, and staff thoroughly enjoyed spending time celebrating with the graduates and their families, looking back on old photos and sharing the memories we all have of them. It was a lovely afternoon, with lots of tears, hugs and laughter, and a fantastic way to say a heartfelt thank you to our parents, for their support over the years and for welcoming us into their family.
We hope they all keep in touch; we wish them all the very best of luck - it has been an absolute pleasure being part of their early years journey.
