We are looking for fun and enthusiastic, child-focused practitioners with lots of energy who can contribute a variety of skills to our established and fabulous teams.
Someone who has an understanding of child development, along with a sound knowledge of the EYFS and who has experience of implementing this within a private day nursery setting would be the ideal candidate for Sandhills Day Nurseries.

All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure. The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions. It also prevents unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children through its criminal records checking and barring functions.
Due to the location of Nursery ideally the candidate should drive.

Qualified Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse – All sites
Sandhills Day Nursery is a well-established Day Nursery offering the highest standards of care and play opportunities to children aged 0 to 5 years of age. Our overall ethos is to nurture and establish our children’s love for learning and exploration by providing the best possible experiences and opportunities.
This is an opportunity to work within a small organisation to really make a difference. Working as part of the Sandhills team, you will deliver high-quality play and learning opportunities through a wide range of activities.
You will be able to communicate well with young children and their parents and carers and have working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. With a minimum of Level 3 Early Years Qualification, you must have experience of dealing with young children.

As regulated activity, this position is subject to an enhanced check via the Disclosure and Barring Service which we consider acceptable as well as appropriate references.
