Our Codsall Nursery

Sandhills Day Nurseries are all about helping to give children the best start in life and here at Codsall we provide a safe, clean and happy environment for children aged from birth to five years.

Nursery is situated on the main A41 Holyhead Road, it has a large secure on site car park and access to Nursery can only be gained through 1 door which is situated at the front of the building. Nursery provides 6 rooms (2 baby rooms, 2 toddler rooms and 2 pre-school rooms) in addition to these rooms children also have access to 2 outdoor areas.

The surroundings at Codsall are an excellent feature of the nursery as there is a large outdoor play area and an amazing outdoor classroom which is separated into different areas to give the children an excellent learning environment where the sky really is the limit.

Inside the nursery there are large, spacious and extremely well equipped rooms with age-appropriate resources, this enables children to make choices and become active, independent learners and the activities are planned around the children’s own interests. This ensures that the nursery provides a highly effective learning environment and promotes all aspects of learning and welfare to a high standard.

All meals are produced by our cook on site and our menus are reviewed regularly to ensure that we provide a healthy and balanced diet. We provide the children with breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. The children also have access to water all day, milk with mid-morning snack and fruit juice is offered at afternoon snack.

Nursery is led by a strong and motivational management team who continually strive for excellence in the delivery of care and education for all children. Staff engage parents in their child’s learning in a wide variety of ways, such as inviting them in to special events and to 'stay and play' sessions. We also keep parents well informed about all aspects of the nursery through noticeboards, newsletters, emails and through their electronic Learning Journeys.

At Sandhills, Codsall we have the highest security with state of the art finger print entry for staff, CCTV in all of our rooms and outdoors including the car park and access is only made via the front door which can only be opened by staff; parents cannot let themselves in or out of the Nursery.

To fully appreciate what is on offer at Codsall, why not book a show around where staff will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

  • Fantastic care and attention of the staff
The one thing that we have ALWAYS loved about Nursery is the fantastic care and attention of the staff – we have felt like every single person knows, cares and has Seb’s very best interest at heart – you all somehow make us feel like he is as important to you as he is to us. He is well prepared  for school (more so than us) and we are so unbelievably grateful to you all. A very heartfelt thank you.

  • Sandhills is child centered and that is the most important thing.
As my daughter Lily is now 10 and I have Joshua at nursery. I have seen your early days and how it is today. There was no choice to make when choosing a nursery for Joshua, although it was 8 years on. Sandhills is child centered and that is the most important thing. I always recommend if anyone asks. Thank you all.

  • Thank you for your patience and kindness
Thank you for your patience and kindness when settling us in when mommy returned to work and for all the messy, fun and laughter along the way whilst watching us grow (nothing has been too much trouble). Thank you for remembering our ‘best bits’ and telling Mommy. We will miss you. Hugs and cuddles.

  • You have all played a key role in him
Just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of Nirmaljots early years of education. He has flourished and grown into a confident little boy and I am very pleased with him. You have all played a key role in him achieving this. He has thoroughly enjoyed coming to Nursery and made a lot of good memories and enjoyed his time here. Thank you again.

  • Such an outstanding nursery
Our grateful thanks to you and your wonderful team for helping Millie and her Nanny and Grandad through recent sad events. Coming into Nursery we always felt we were enveloped by such care and compassion from everyone we met. Millie has been so lucky to attend such an outstanding nursery and we are sure it has prepared her well for ‘Big School!’ Tom and I will miss our chats but all of you will remain in our hearts and memories.

  • You’ve made such a difference
Thank you…. For holding my hand, for wiping my noise, for picking me up when I trip on my toes. For teaching me things like how, what and why, for holding me tight when I just have to cry, for playing with me and guiding me too, for all of those things, I’m grateful to you. A teacher is known for the lives that they touch, you’ve made such a difference so thank you SO MUCH!
